The Challenge
As Fursys expanded beyond South Korea, it needed to signal innovation on a global stage while preserving credibility built across four decades of pioneering the workplace. In an increasingly crowded category, the challenge was to evolve from an office furniture manufacturer into a meaningful partner navigating the evolving realities of work.
The Solution
We repositioned Fursys around a new vision: Make Room for Reinvention. Inspired to capture a legacy of looking ahead and designed to flow with the natural rhythms of work, the new brand presents the workplace as an adaptable environment—one that moves with people and makes room for what comes next.
Form Follows Fursys
The new identity draws from the same principles that have shaped Fursys products for decades: modularity, precision, and attention to detail with the person in mind. From the geometry of the wordmark to The Corner at the heart of the system, every element shares a common logic.

Your team for day one and every day after
Audience research revealed that the path to purchase is an act of trust-building competitors failed to deliver on. To fill the gap, we turned Fursys’ operational edge as an end-to-end solution into a transformative partnership. From concept to support, Fursys offers more than office furniture—they’re the team customers need to plan, design, ship, install, service, and grow their workplace.

One system shaping work
The identity was designed to move seamlessly between digital and physical experiences. From interactive catalogs that make complex furniture intuitive to explore, to tactile showrooms that bring their materials and modularity to life, every touchpoint creates a continuous experience of Fursys.

Design for the unseen
Our verbal identity, The Proven Visionary, gives voice to what Fursys has always done: pioneering the workplace with proven solutions. From human behavior to product details, Fursys speaks with the conviction of four decades of problem-solving, articulated through a new tagline: Design for the unseen.

Project Information
Founded in 1983 in South Korea, Fursys has spent decades shaping the modern workplace. From ushering in the white furniture wave to perfecting under-mounted cable management, Fursys has remained at the forefront of office environments. But with global expansion underway, Fursys needed a brand capable of signaling its innovative legacy in a market increasingly crowded by high-end competitors and low-end replicas. We partnered to reimagine the brand for its next chapter in the United States.
Our work began with deep research across the business, category, and customer, from workshops at Fursys headquarters in Seoul to a US quantitative survey and qualitative interviews across three customer segments. While work is no longer static, we learned that the workplace has struggled to keep up and there was an opportunity for a brand to shake things up. So we introduced a new vision, Make room for reinvention, capturing Fursys’ legacy of shapeshifting breakthroughs with an eye toward what’s next, and mission, Tune the workplace to your workflow. Together, these ideas reframe adaptability as a brand ethos, allowing Fursys to lead with emotion in a category built on function. Finally, after our audience interviews revealed that the path to purchase is an act of trust-building most competitors fail to deliver on, we translated Fursys’ operational edge as an end-to-end solution into a role of partnership, promising to be your team from day one and every day after.
The resulting identity system translates this rhythm into a cohesive and scalable brand language. That foundation takes root in the wordmark, drawn from a shared grid as a nod to the modularity of Fursys’ furniture systems. In tandem, the iconic Fursys symbol was redrawn and reintroduced as “The Corner.” In typography, we extended these geometric forms into a customized sans-serif typeface named Fursys Sans, with complementary character sets for both Latin languages and Korean. In color, we revitalized Fursys’ signature red to feel more striking while introducing an expanded secondary palette. In photography, we developed a three-tier image system centered around product, process, and placement. To further express movement and adaptability, we built an illustration system inspired directly by the silhouettes and gestures of real users interacting with the furniture. In motion, the identity captures the momentum of using Fursys products. Across physical and digital touchpoints, the system continuously adapts while maintaining cohesion, reinforcing the idea that movement is the baseline of modern work. Together, the furniture itself, the thinking behind it, and the environments it supports coexist within one unified world.
To complete the brand, we developed a new verbal identity named The Proven Visionary: a voice grounded in decades of expertise, yet always looking ahead. It studies what feels stuck and imagines what could work better. Part engineer, part optimist, it speaks with the conviction of experience and the curiosity to keep improving. Attentive, intuitive, and assured, the voice helps Fursys bridge its legacy of innovation with a vision for the what’s next.
For four decades, Fursys has been solving the problems that slow work down. Their new brand makes that legacy visible, evolving Fursys from a furniture manufacturer into a complete workplace maker designed to move with the flow of work itself.
